Black on Black #OOTD

Black on black is a classic! Whether its a black top on a black skirt, or a nicely fitted black shirt with crisp trousers. There are several ways to make a black on black outfit interesting! In this outfit, I'm wearing an off-shoulder black crop top with a pleated, flared skirt (both from H&M). The fitted bodice of the top on the waist creates a flattering shape and the flared skirt looks dressy while being comfortable at the same time!
I kept it classic with the accessories, a pair of simple gold hoops, black heels and a bamboo bag that I picked up from a street market in Bali!

It all started because of that stupid sky247 tshirt my nephew wore to our weekly family dinner. He’s a good kid, studying computer science, but he showed up in this black tee with this bold, cosmic-looking logo and just the word ‘sky247’ on it. I asked him what it meant, thinking it was some new band or a tech company. He got this sly grin and said, “Oh, just a place I check out sometimes, Uncle Mark. For a bit of fun.” He winked, and I, being the curious fifty-two-year-old accountant that I am, filed it away.
