Hi everyone! It's been a long time since I've sat down to pen a blog post. This year, January 8th marked 10 years of Corallista. I started writing a WordPress blog sharing my reviews on beauty products, creating looks as I was experimenting with makeup, from my college dorm room. To mark this big milestone that has led me on a transformative journey both personally and professionally, I wanted to do something special, something I had not done before in the last 10 years. I co-created a product!!
My glow goddess highlighter is a product of a collaboration with the lovely plant-powered skincare brand, Daughter Earth, spanning across countries - India, France and the UK. If the last year has taught us anything, it's bringing out resources together despite geographical barriers! This super-blendable cream highlighter is not just makeup, its a skincare-makeup hybrid containing natural plant butters, neuropeptides to relax the skin and Co Enzyme Q10 is one of the most potent antioxidants in the world.
I wanted to create a shade that was universally flattering, and after several iterations, we were able to create this gorgeous peachy- gold shade that brought a beautiful warm glow to every skin tone we tested this on!
Since its a balm-like texture, it's incredibly easy to apply and blend. For people who wear their nails long, a small concealer brush will work equally well. It translates to a sheer glow on the skin, the pigments are finely milled and not chunky at all. Once you tap it a few times on the high points of your face, you're left with a beautiful glow on your skin, unlike anything that powder highlighter gives.
I'm immensely proud of this product and to have a wonderful partner like Daughter Earth made the experience of creating this a very exciting project.
